We too have a 2TB model and it was a bit of a pain to install. It is with tech support (printed and on the phone). It is an excellent product - fast and cheap. So my problem is NOT with the product itself. The worst part is I explained this to them as my theory yet they say go ahead - TWICE! You need to format and RAID it on the generic eSATA card system, format it using the OS X utility and then you can use on both controllers. On two different phone calls they said if I RAID it 0 or 1 I can use it on other systems with eSATA multiport card. Tech support also gave me the wrong information - TWICE! Each time I was put on hold for 5 minutes while they ask the 'specialist'.
